Job Description

As the Sr. Manager EHS at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will have the outstanding opportunity to build and compose the company's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) strategies. With our world-class resources and ambitious goals, you will play a meaningful role in ensuring compliance, preventing accidents, and driving continuous improvement throughout the organization!

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain policies, practices, and procedures to ensure EHS compliance.
• Develop and support the site's EHS Management System.
• Lead the Workers Compensation Program.
• Manage the Intelex database system for injury reporting and OSHA logs.
• Conduct investigations of accidents and near-miss incidents.
• Analyze accident data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure timely completion of routine environmental reports and inspections.
• Conduct compliance audits and assessments.
• Develop and deliver training programs for environmental, health, and safety responsibilities.
• Serve as a technical resource in areas of EHS compliance and risk management.
• Lead the site EHS team and report on metrics and performance.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $118,100.00$177,200.00.
