[job_card.job_description]General Ledger Management : Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Oversee AP / AR functions, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and vendor payments. Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis to support strategic planning. Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries. Support the preparation and submission of tax filings, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Monitor cash flow and banking activities to ensure optimal working capital management. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability as the business grows. Assist in the preparation of reports and financial analyses required by private equity stakeholders. Contribute to various projects, such as M&A integration, ERP system enhancements, and other strategic initiatives. Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is preferred. 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a private equity-backed or high-growth company. Experience in both B2B and B2C environments is a plus. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with ERP systems is a bonus. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance requirements. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
