Architect

Shive-Hattery’s West Des Moines, IA office has an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Architect with 10+ years of experience in the business development, design, and leadership of architectural projects. As an architect on the Industrial team, you will be collaborating with multi-discipline teams within the West Des Moines office and across the entire Shive-Hattery ecosystem on local, regional, and national projects. We are a full-service design firm offering interior design, architecture, engineering, and landscape architecture. In this role, you will lead architectural design and project management efforts for projects serving primarily industrial and government clients :

• Lead the architectural design and project management with design discussions, idea generation, collaboration, and design work in drawing, modeling and 3D image formats.
• Direct non-licensed and other professionals assigned to design, produce and coordinate the design process and technical documents.
• Attend project and client meetings with design professionals for both business development opportunities and projects under contract.
• Develop technical design solutions.
• Assist in design presentation development.
