Position : RN-Mother Baby (Travel / Contract)

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns in a hospital setting.

Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Monitor and assess patients' health status and report changes promptly.

Engage in performance evaluations and set personal growth goals.

Contribute to achieving departmental targets and performance metrics.

Educate new parents on infant care and breastfeeding techniques.

Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patient care quality.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Assist in the development of care plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and outcomes.

Experience / Qualifications

Current RN license in Maryland with a focus on maternal and newborn care.

Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

Experience in a hospital setting, particularly in mother-baby units.

Proven ability to monitor patient health and report changes accurately.

Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols in healthcare.

Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Familiarity with evidence-based practices to enhance patient care.

Ability to set personal growth goals and participate in evaluations.

Experience in educating parents on infant care and breastfeeding.

Strong documentation skills for accurate patient care records.
