Job DescriptionClinical Pharmacist Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Clinical Pharmacist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. With a focus on clinical excellence, you will contribute to optimizing medication management and improving health outcomes for patients at Travis Air Force Base.
Required Skills: - Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an ACPE-accredited institution
- Completion of a clinical pharmacy residency or fellowship accredited by the American Society of Health System Pharmacists or American College of Clinical Pharmacy
- Minimum of three years of recent experience as an infectious disease clinical pharmacist or completion of a PGY-2 specialty pharmacy residency in Infectious Diseases
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted pharmacist license
- Strong knowledge of infectious disease pharmacotherapy and clinical practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Nice to Have Skills: - Experience with hospital or military healthcare settings
- Additional certifications in infectious diseases or pharmacotherapy
- Proficiency with electronic health records and pharmacy management systems
Preferred Education and Experience: - Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Pharm.D. degree
- Post-graduate year two (PGY-2) residency in Infectious Diseases or equivalent experience
- At least three years of relevant clinical experience within the last five years
Other Requirements: - Willingness to work 8-hour day shifts, five days a week
- Ability to provide documentation of appropriate education, training, and CME in clinical pharmacy
- Must be able to show proof of current health coverage to receive additional benefits
- No federal holiday work required
