Clinical Pharmacist

With a focus on clinical excellence, you will contribute to optimizing medication management and improving health outcomes for patients at Travis Air Force Base.

Required Skills:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an ACPE-accredited institution
• Completion of a clinical pharmacy residency or fellowship accredited by the American Society of Health System Pharmacists or American College of Clinical Pharmacy
• Minimum of three years of recent experience as an infectious disease clinical pharmacist or completion of a PGY-2 specialty pharmacy residency in Infectious Diseases
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted pharmacist license
• Strong knowledge of infectious disease pharmacotherapy and clinical practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with hospital or military healthcare settings
• Additional certifications in infectious diseases or pharmacotherapy
• Proficiency with electronic health records and pharmacy management systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Pharm.D. degree
• Post-graduate year two (PGY-2) residency in Infectious Diseases or equivalent experience
• At least three years of relevant clinical experience within the last five years

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work 8-hour day shifts, five days a week
• Ability to provide documentation of appropriate education, training, and CME in clinical pharmacy
• Must be able to show proof of current health coverage to receive additional benefits
• No federal holiday work required
