Professional Mover/Driver/Crew Chief

2 College Brothers Moving & Storage is seeking an experienced and reliable Professional Mover/Driver/Crew Chief to lead our moving teams. In this role, you will take charge of the moving process, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of clients' belongings while providing leadership and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of movers, delegating tasks and ensuring each crew member works efficiently and effectively.
• Drive company trucks to and from job sites, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient transportation of belongings. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good condition.
• Oversee and assist with the loading and unloading of items, ensuring furniture and other belongings are safely secured, properly handled, and protected.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients during the move, providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the process.
• Address any challenges that arise during the move, including damage prevention, difficult furniture handling, or scheduling issues.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, minimizing the risk of accidents and injuries.
• Complete necessary paperwork such as inventory sheets, job logs, and customer documents accurately and on time.
• Train and mentor new movers, providing guidance and support to ensure team cohesion and high-quality performance.

Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License: Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
• Experience: Previous experience in a moving or driving role, with a proven ability to lead and manage a team.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy items, handle physical tasks for long periods, and navigate different job environments.
• Customer Service Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally.
• Team Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Quick-thinking and resourceful in addressing unexpected challenges.
• Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including weekdays and some weekends.
• Must be able to pass the following:
