Line Cook

Join Our Team as a LINE/FRY COOK! Looking for Reliable Openers (8am start) and/or Potential Late Night Line Cooks (until 1am shift) - and all times in between, depending on your availability. We are Focusing on a Reliable Opener ideally with transportation or that lives in close proximity to the Bryn Mawr area.

At Love & Honey Fried Chicken, everyone does every job! As a Restaurant Team Member, you’ll be cross-trained in both front-of-house and back-of-house tasks, ensuring smooth operations and top-notch service. You’ll take orders, assemble sandwiches, manage online orders, and keep things running smoothly with customer orders. In the kitchen, you’ll prep ingredients, work the fry station, and follow strict recipes and methods to maintain our high standards. If you’re a team player who’s ready to jump in wherever needed—whether it’s frying chicken, restocking, cleaning, or handling customers—we’d love to have you on board!

Schedule:

• TBD. Dependent on Employee's availability balanced against the Restaurant's staffing needs. We are a 7 day/week operation. Restaurant will have late night hours (midnight) on several days.

Qualifications:

· Restaurant prep, customer service, and fryer experience required

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask

· Strong teamwork and communication skills

· Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

· Willingness to jump into different roles as needed

· ServSafe Certification is Preferred but not required

Back-of-House (BOH) Responsibilities:

· Operate the fry station for the PM shift - you will be fully trained on the Love & Honey Fried Chicken method of frying chicken.

· Maintain a clean and organized workstation

· Follow all safety procedures, especially at the fry station

· Prepare food in a timely and sanitary manner while keeping fry station clean

· Prep, brine, and clean chicken

· Follow strict recipes for sauces, salad dressings, desserts, and other menu items

· Restock items and maintain proper food safety and sanitation practices

· Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; assist with receiving and storing orders

· Jump into other tasks as needed, including expo station, cashiering, and dishwashing

· Assist with general cleaning, trash removal, station setup, and breakdown
