"Angel" is in our company name. We are a heart-centered agency that cares for our caregivers and clients alike. Visiting Angels of Westchester County is looking for companion caregivers for the home-based seniors we care for in Westchester County, NY. Based on feedback from our Angels, we were recently named an “Employer of Choice" across the home care industry by Homecare Pulse for the third year in a row!

Companions must have a car and be willing to drive clients.

If you are an Angel and enjoy working with seniors, this is the position for you!

Hours are flexible and can vary from 8 to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities may include:

• Provide joyful companionship and socialization.
• Assist with meal planning, purchase of food and meal preparation.
• Provide assistance with laundry, light housekeeping services, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Maintain a clean, safe comfortable and healthy environment for the client.
• Exhibit positive attitude and behavior; and provide empathetic support.
• Drive to appointments, activities, errands, and shopping.
• Encourage walking and exercise.
