Job Description

Essential Duties/ Requirements:

• Inspecting or testing materials, products, installations, and work for conformance to specifications by using a variety of inspection tools.
• Inspect equipment, products, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
• Notifying supervisors of production problems, and assist in identifying and correcting these problems.
• Hand Soldering.
• Performance of any other company related job tasks required by business needs.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:

• Excellent level of hand/ eye coordination and dexterity, including the ability to pick, pinch, or grasp an object.
• Long periods of sitting.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Occasional pushing/ pulling of plastic utility cart to transport work items.

Work environment:

Work is conducted in an indoor production environment; therefore the employee is not exposed to any outside environmental conditions.

Additional Information

Rate of Pay: In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the hourly rate for this position is $17.00 per hour; which may be increased upon successful completion of the 90th day introductory period to a rate of $17.50-$17.75 per hour.

Status: Full-time/ Regular (40 hours per week)/ Monday- Friday (8:30am- 5:00pm)
