Part-Time Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk

Elwood Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk to join a small accounting firm in Fort Collins. This is a great opportunity for someone who values flexibility and thrives in a professional, fast-paced environment.

Part-Time Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk Details :

  • Temporary position
  • $ to $ / hour
  • Part Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 10 : 00am to 04 : 00pm)
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Prepare and maintain balance sheets and general ledger entries
  • Conduct bank and account reconciliations
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records
  • Utilize QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online for daily bookkeeping
  • Generate and analyze financial reports
  • Collaborate with management on budget tracking and forecasting
  • Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
  • $25-$30 / hr based on experience

    • Part-Time Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
  • Solid understanding of general ledger accounting
  • Experience with month-end and year-end closings
  • Strong skills in reconciliation and balance sheet preparation
  • Strong Excel skills and overall computer literacy
  • Highly organized, professional, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
