Project Scope

This assignment provides full safety oversight for the construction of a water storage tank on a large data center project. Activities include rebar installation, floor casting, erection of shoring and wall forms, diaphragm placement, vertical wall shooting, and dome construction. The safety manager must be experienced in confined space operations, concrete activities, and fall protection for elevated work.

Primary focus areas include :

• Confined space entry oversight and atmospheric monitoring
• Concrete construction safety during formwork, shoring, casting, and vertical wall operations
• Fall protection planning and enforcement for elevated work activities
• Daily safety inspections and documentation
• Conducting toolbox talks, orientations, and pre task planning
• Coordinating with craft leads, supervisors, and the general contractor to maintain continuous safety coverage

Qualifications

✅ BCSP credential required (STSC, CHST, ASP, CSP, GSP) or a bachelor's degree in a safety related discipline

✅ Three years of experience supporting a project of similar size and scope

✅ OSHA 30 completed within the last three years

✅ Strong background in confined space, concrete construction, and fall protection
