Your Role on the Team

Position Summary :

The Health Information Management Tech position is responsible for discharge processing, accounting for all records received into the department, prepping and scanning records for processing the electronic medical record, document distribution, assisting customers with requests for information, answering telephones, assisting physicians with chart completion and general office duties.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications :

High School Diploma or GED

Basic Computer Skills

• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
