Shipping/Receiving Specialist

We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to support daily warehouse and logistics operations. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in inventory handling, shipping coordination, and working in regulated environments. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable following strict federal and aviation compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify inbound shipments, materials, and aviation components
• Prepare and package outbound shipments in accordance with federal, aviation, and company regulations
• Ensure accurate labeling, documentation, and tracking of all inbound and outbound materials
• Maintain inventory records within internal databases and inventory management systems
• Perform cycle counts and support ongoing inventory control efforts
• Coordinate with logistics, purchasing, and maintenance teams to ensure timely material flow
• Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and RF scanners
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment
• Adhere to all safety, security, and federal compliance procedures, including proper handling of regulated aviation parts

Requirements

• 1-2+ years of experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse operations (aviation experience preferred)
• Ability to accurately process shipping documentation, including BOLs, packing slips, and labels
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer proficiency; experience with inventory software is a plus
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs as needed
• Forklift certification preferred but not required
• Ability to pass a background check and meet federal compliance requirements
• Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
