Dock 17, a vibrant restaurant located in the heart of Clarksville, TN, is renowned for its welcoming atmosphere and fresh, inventive dishes. We are on the lookout for enthusiastic and personable servers to join our dynamic team. No experience necessary – we will train the right candidates! This role presents an excellent opportunity for growth and development within our restaurant, with the chance to build a lasting career. If you have an upbeat personality, enjoy interacting with people, and are eager to learn, Dock 17 is excited to welcome you aboard!

Expectations :

  • Provide excellent customer service to our guests by greeting them as soon as they arrive at their tables, obtaining food and drink orders, and communicating those to bar and kitchen staff.
  • Become a menu expert - Answer questions, provide suggestions, etc.
  • Ensure guests are enjoying their meals by checking on them at the appropriate intervals. Take action to correct any problems that may arise.
  • Prepare checks, collect payments, and provide change, if needed.
  • Help food preparation staff when necessary.
  • Required to obtain TABC within the first 30 days of employment; assistance in obtaining and reimbursement of cost after 90 days of employment available

Preferred Skill Sets :

  • Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with other staff
  • Ability to perform high-quality work while unsupervised
  • Good with math - you must be able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system
  • Minimum age 18
  • Willingness to learn
