About the Role
This is a contract-to-hire, overnight, onsite role within a 24 / 7 hosting operations environment.
LOCATION : Allen, TX or Houston, TX
Responsibilities
- Monitoring consoles, servers, switches, ATM activity, reports, and batch processing
- Responding to system alerts using documented procedures and escalation paths
- Maintaining shift logs, checklists, and operating records
- Communicating incidents professionally to customers and internal teams
- Supporting Windows Server environments as needed
- Ensuring data security and system integrity at all times
- Coordinating smooth handoffs between shifts
Qualifications
6+ months of experience in Help Desk, Technical Support, or IT OperationsAbility to work overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM CST), including weekends and holidaysAbility to attend second-shift training (3 PM - 11 PM) for approximately 90 daysStrong attention to detail and comfort following structured proceduresSolid communication and customer service skillsRequired Skills
Microsoft Office experienceUnix exposureSharePoint familiarityIBM Mainframe exposureBanking, card processing, or financial services experienceUnderstanding of batch processingPreferred Skills
Entry-to-mid-level IT operations experience in financial services
Clear procedures and escalation paths
Strong opportunity for conversion to full-time
