A Pathology Physician is responsible for diagnosing diseases through the examination of laboratory samples, handling 60-100 cases daily including surgicals, bone marrows, and cytology. The physician collaborates with a team of pathologists, physician assistants, and histotechnologists in a laboratory setting. This position requires board certification and an active medical license in Mississippi.

Work Dates Needed : January 2025-March 2025 with option to extend

Preferred Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7 : 30-5

Worksite Setting : Lab- Pathology

Cases : 60-100 cases per day, surgicals, bone marrows, non-gyn cytology, gyn cytology, and FNAs. No autopsies

Support : 3 other Pathologists, 1-2 PAs, 5 histotechs, 2 cytotechs

Licenses, Certifications, Requirements : Board Certified, active MS license
