About the Role:

The Red Barn Child Care Center & Preschool is seeking a Child Care Floater/HERO to join our team in Clarksville, TN. Most flexible positions in our field are referred to as floaters but we are changing the position to HERO (Helps Every Room Out). These candidates are crucial to our daily operations and support of our Educators. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a nurturing and supportive environment where you can make a difference in the lives of children.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation of daily activities and curriculum for children

Supervise and engage with children during playtime, rest time, outdoor activities, and routines.

Assist with meal times, rest times, diapering, and potty training

Support teachers and administration in maintaining a safe and clean environment

Provide a positive and nurturing atmosphere for children

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is a plus but training is provided

Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, educators, and administration

Possess a friendly and patient demeanor

Must pass background check, drug screening, physical and provide 3 professional references

Have CPR/first aid certification or be willing to obtain in first 90 days
