This is a remote position.

• Shift Schedule : Remote 5X8, M-F.
• Client has set shifts / schedules for contractor to choose from.
• All morning starts.
• Conversion : Yes, Temp to Hire
• Interviews : Virtual
• CANDIDATES MUST HAVE THEIR OWN EQUIPMENT TO WORK OFF OF.
• CANDIDATES MUST UNDERSTAND THERE IS AN EXPECTATION OF HOW MANY CHARTS SHOULD BE CODED PER HOUR.

Requirements

HS Diploma / GED Certification as a CPC or CCS-P required. Proficient in assigning and abstracting ICD-10-CM and CPT codes from provider documentation. 2+ years’ experience with coding general surgery professional services required. 2+ years’ experience with coding general surgery / surgical procedures in a Hospital setting for professional services required. Certified General Surgery Coder (CGSC) preferred. Three (3) years’ experience in production coding in a surgical setting or in a physician practice environment required. Outpatient professional fee revenue cycle management experience preferred.
