Tri-County Special Education Services and Ft. Larned USD 495are looking for an Elementary Special Education Teacher at Offerle Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualifications

• Kansas teaching license with the appropriate Special Education endorsement (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to design and implement individualized instruction
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to collaboration and student-centered learning

Essential Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging individualized instruction to meet student needs
• Use effective teaching strategies and adjust instruction based on student progress
• Assess student abilities monitor progress and provide regular reports
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Follow state statutes school board policies and district regulations
• Attend meetings serve on committees and complete assigned duties
• Maintain accurate records and ensure student safety and well-being
• Stay current on best instructional practices including educational technology
