LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Psychiatry NP in Maine!

About The Position

We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a 6-month locum tenens assignment in Maine. Starting Dec 1, 2025, this flexible role offers one 8-hour day per month, scheduled collaboratively between you and our client. You will provide psychiatric care, perform evaluations, and develop care plans for patients across the lifespan.

Schedule : One 8-hour day per month, to be determined between provider and client

Responsibilities and Duties

Conduct monthly psychiatric evaluations

Provide medical attention and follow-up care as needed

Develop and arrange care plans for patients

Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Collaborate with the client to ensure quality patient outcomes

Additional Information

Active Maine nurse practitioner license required

Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Across the Lifespan) Certification (PMHNP-BC) required

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Minimum 1 year post-graduate experience
