What You'll Do :

The Hardware Quality & NPI Operations team is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and successful introduction of next-generation hardware across CoreWeave's rapidly scaling AI infrastructure. This team develops end-to-end strategies, processes, and capabilities to deliver world-class hardware quality, seamless product ramps, and reliable capacity for both internal and customer-facing computing environments. Partnering closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Data Center Operations, Program Management, and Supplier Quality, the team drives operational excellence and high reliability at scale.

About the Role :

The Director of Hardware Quality & NPI Operations will lead CoreWeave's efforts to ensure world-class hardware quality and seamless new product introductions across our AI infrastructure. You will define enterprise-wide quality strategies, establish reliability programs, and implement frameworks for continuous improvement. • Demonstrated experience building a hardware quality or NPI organization from scratch or scaling one rapidly.
  • Deep understanding of hardware lifecycle—from design through production, test, deployment, and field operations.
  • Experience in hyperscale, cloud infrastructure, semiconductors, servers, or high-reliability hardware environments.
  • Strong command of quality systems, reliability engineering principles, and failure analysis methodologies.
  • Proven ability to execute complex hardware ramps under aggressive timelines.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership, influencing ability, and stakeholder communication.

Preferred :

  • Experience with AI hardware ecosystems (GPUs, accelerators, networking, storage).
  • Familiarity with large-scale data center operations and hardware fleet reliability.
  • Prior experience implementing ERP / MES / QMS systems for operations scale.
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Operations, or related discipline.
  • Wondering if you're a good fit? We believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams – even if you aren't a 100% skill or experience match. Here are a few qualities we've found compatible with our team. If some of this describes you, we'd love to talk.

  • You love to build and scale hardware quality and NPI operations teams.
  • You're curious about improving reliability, quality frameworks, and operational rigor across complex hardware systems.
