We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor – Billing to join a client team.
Responsibilities

• 
  Lead and oversee accounts receivable billing operations, including claim submission, payment posting, reconciliation, and collections.
  
• 
  Supervise a team responsible for billing accuracy, claims resolution, and account follow up.
  
• 
  Ensure timely and accurate submission of invoices and claims across multiple payers or customers.
  
• 
  Post and reconcile payments received through various channels, including electronic and manual methods.
  
• 
  Investigate and resolve discrepancies such as underpayments, overpayments, and misapplied payments.
  
• 
  Manage daily and monthly reconciliation of accounts receivable balances.
  
• 
  Oversee denial management, appeals, and audit preparation activities.
  
• 
  Analyze trends related to denials, aging balances, and collections performance.
  
• 
  Monitor and manage third party or outsourced billing partners, as applicable.
  
• 
  Track aging accounts and implement strategies to reduce outstanding balances.
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  
• 
  Develop, document, and maintain billing procedures, training materials, and internal controls.
  
• 
  Prepare reports, dashboards, and metrics related to billing performance and cash collections.
  
• 
  Conduct root cause analysis and recommend process improvements.
  
• 
  Lead hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and coaching of team members.
  
• 
  Collaborate cross functionally with operations, sales, and finance teams.
  
• 
  Perform additional duties as assigned.
  

Required Qualifications

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  
• 
  Three or more years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or revenue cycle functions.
  
• 
  Prior supervisory or team leadership experience.
  
• 
  Strong understanding of billing workflows, payment posting, reconciliation, and collections processes.
  
• 
  Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  
• 
  High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  
• 
  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• 
  Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  
• 
  Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
  
• 
  Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 
  Experience supporting audits and appeals.
  
• 
  Exposure to managing outsourced or third party billing partners.
  
• 
  Experience improving or standardizing billing processes and internal controls.
  
• 
  Background in continuous improvement or process optimization initiatives.
