RN- Emergency Department

Location: Fountain Valley, CA
Shift: Day Shift (3x12-Hour, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Friday – Sunday)
Start Date: February 11, 2025
Duration: 13 weeks

• Provide emergency nursing care for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in a STEMI and Stroke Certified Facility
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, arterial lines, ventilated patients, and procedural sedation
• Perform phlebotomy, IV starts, and administer IV vasopressors
• Utilize EPIC documentation system
• Work every other weekend

Experience: Minimum 3 years in ER (First-time travelers accepted with 3-5 years of experience)

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, MAB, NIHSS, PALS

Skills: Pediatric ER, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, BiPAP/CPAP, ABG interpretation

License: Active CA RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)

Travelers: First-time travelers accepted

COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required

Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious exemptions allowed)

References: 1 required (within the last 2 years)

• $63-68/hr
• Overtime: After 12 regular hours in a day OR 60 regular hours in a week
• Holiday Pay: Paid for major holidays worked (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)

• Time Off Requests: Must be included at the time of submission (max 5 days)
• Required Documents: CA RN license, Nursys report (within 2 weeks), certifications
• Compliance: No Nursys hits, previous perm staff not allowed
