Continuous Improvement Manager Otsego MI

Salary Range : $94000 - $141000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage continuous improvement projects across manufacturing operations.
  • Develop implement and sustain Lean Six Sigma and other CI methodologies.
  • Identify process inefficiencies waste and bottlenecks through data analysis and observation.
  • Train coach and mentor employees at all levels on CI principles and tools.
  • Establish metrics track performance and report on the ROI of CI initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving throughout the organization.
  • Standardize processes and best practices to ensure sustainable gains.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (or equivalent demonstrated expertise).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience leading continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven proficiency in applying Lean methodologies (e.g. Value Stream Mapping Kaizen 5S SMED) and statistical process control.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and project management skills with experience leveraging data to drive impactful change.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Operations Management or a related technical field.

    • Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with advanced CI methodologies such as Shingo Model Theory of Constraints or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) beyond basic implementation.
  • Proficiency in advanced data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau Python / R) for process optimization and predictive insights.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating digital transformation initiatives (e.g. IoT automation) with continuous improvement efforts.
