Join our team at Canterbury Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center as a Shower and Weight Support Assistant !

  • MUST BE A CERTIFIED CNA

Full-time, part-time and PRN opportunities available.

Available shifts : 7A-3PM

3PM-11PM

Including every other weekend

Same Day Pay!

Base Pay :

Competitive rates based on experience $18 / h-$25 / hr.

Shift Differentials :

$1.50 additional for 3PM-11APM Shift

$1 additional for 11PM-7AM Shift

$2.50 additional for Weekend Shifts

No Frills Program for Full-Time Employees : If you opt for no benefits (no vacation, sick time, personal days, or holidays), you'll earn an additional $3 / hour on top of your base pay.

Responsibilities for Shower and Weight Support Assistant :

  • Provide basic resident care under direction of nursing staff
  • Provide daily showers / baths to residents according to schedule
  • Assist with and document residents' weight compliance
  • Support residents across various levels of care, including :
  • Bedbound residents with ventilators or tracheostomies
  • Skilled rehabilitation residents
  • Memory Care Unit residents

    • Qualifications for Shower and Weight Support Assistant :

  • A current, unencumbered active license to practice as a CNA in the state of Virginia.
  • Ability to work with multiple patients at once
