What you’ll do as a Data Engineer Design, develop, and maintain packages to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data warehouses or data marts Integrate data from multiple sources, including relational databases, flat files, APIs, and other data repositories Optimize package performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high data processing efficiency Implement data validation and quality checks to ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the ETL process Work closely with data architects, database administrators, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and develop data integration solutions that meet business needs Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL packages, data workflows, and integration processes Conduct thorough testing and debugging of ETL packages to identify and resolve any issues or errors Provide support and troubleshooting for production ETL processes and resolve data-related issues as they arise What you’ll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role with a strong focus on ETL Expertise in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Proficiency in developing SQL and T-SQL Experience with data warehousing concepts and scheduled ETL processes Familiarity with other data integration tools and technologies is a plus Experience with ERP data integration concepts is a plus AWS Glue, Athena is considered a plus but not required Additional qualifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders High attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and documentation Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment Why work with us Your career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
