Mayco International is a design/ engineering/ manufacturing supplier to the automotive industry. Mayco is a Tier 1 supplier headquartered in Sterling Heights, Michigan with more than 7,000 employees in 45 plants across the USA, China, India, Russia, South Africa, South Korea and Australia. Our interior products include instrument panel systems, door panels, airbag covers, sidewall trim, garnishment molding systems, and consoles. Exterior products include front and rear bumper fascias and systems, body side moldings, grille opening panels and reinforcements. Our exterior products also include large body panels, such as hoods and doors.

In addition, we produce many specialty vehicles such as the SV 9C for SV Motors as well as several special-edition, second-stage vehicles for market niches such as the military. We serve OEMs and other Tier 1 suppliers in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the position will apply knowledge of Mechanical and Controls Technologies to new and existing processes to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness. Direct and/or participate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities. Train, coach, and mentor manufacturing and technical personnel.

Technical Position Qualifications

· Strong Mechanical Aptitude.

· Injection Molding Machine Repair and Maintenance.

· Fault finding and Trouble Shooting Experience.

· Heater Controls, Valve Gate Controls and Thermolators.

· Read and understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and prints.

· Over Head Crane and Forklift Operations.

· Hydraulics and Pneumatics.

· Optical, Inductive, Capacitive sensors.

· Contactors, starters, relays, switches.

· Power supplies and transformers.

· Motors and Motor starters.

· Computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

· Knowledge of Common Machine Guarding Devices. Bumper Strips, Light Curtains, Pressure Mats, etc.

· Lock Out Tag Out.

· General machine safety, electrical safety and machine guarding: high level of safety awareness (OSHA, NEC and RIA).

· Supports Quality System for ISO/TS16949 2009/IATF including but not limited to Corrective and Preventative Actions

Education and Experience.

· Associate’s Degree preferred or course work in Hydraulic Circuits, Blue print reading, Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical circuits.

· Minimum 5 years Machine Repair and Maintenance experience.

· PLC hardware and software.

· HMI hardware and software.

· Networks & database operation.

· Servo and variable frequency drive hardware and software.

· Robot set up and programming.

· Vision systems set up and programming.
