SYSTEMTEC is seeking an IT Program Manager for a HYBRID opportunity in the Columbia, SC area. This candidate will lead multiple initiatives in a strong matrixed environment, typically managing 1-5 projects simultaneously, using Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.

Requirements of the IT Program Manager

  • Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of job-related work experience OR 2 years of job-related experience plus an Associate's degree (any major)
  • 7 years of IT experience in a leadership capacity
  • 4 years leading multiple concurrent project teams
  • Required Technologies

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Windows applications, including :

  • Word, Excel, Outlook
  • SharePoint Online
  • PowerPoint
  • Visio
  • Microsoft Project
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Nice to Have

    • Azure Boards

  • Microsoft Project (advanced usage)

    • Responsibilities of the IT Program Manager

  • Leading projects from initiation through post-implementation / closure
  • Developing and maintaining :

    • Project plans

  • Communication plans
  • Risk management plans
  • Required project artifacts
  • Ensuring deliverables are completed :

    • On time

  • Within budget
  • Within scope
  • Facilitating effective communication across all stakeholders, including :

    • Meetings

  • Written recaps
  • Status reports
  • Project documentation
  • Monitoring resource needs and assigning deliverables based on project requirements
  • Managing project hours against budget
  • Identifying and resolving issues impacting scope, budget, timeline, risk, or resources
  • Providing clear written and verbal project status updates as requested

    • Location : HYRBID (3 Days onsite a week)
