Job Duties Include but are not limited to:
  • Utilize knowledge of transportation and logistics procedures
  • Verify documentation for incoming shipments
  • Accurately log shipment information into computer systems
  • Prepare, review, and maintain shipping and receiving documents
  • Troubleshoot issues and take corrective action as needed
  • Record and track shipment data with a high level of accuracy
  • Compare shipment contents against manifests, invoices, and order forms
  • Report discrepancies or variances to the accounting department
  • Inspect and document trailer temperatures
  • Record tractor, trailer, and seal numbers
  • Dispatch yard and dock moves to drivers
  • Inspect products to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date records
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
