Engineer [h1.location_city]

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Irvine, CA. You will lead the design and development of medical devices and components, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and design control processes.

Rate Range : $45 / hour to $56 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer job responsibilities include :

• Lead and execute the design of medical devices and components in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Prepare concept designs, perform feasibility studies, and support CAD-related activities.
• Develop technical reports, risk assessments, and participate in design reviews.
• Support prototype development, testing, and perform verification and validation activities.
• Investigate design issues, analyze failures, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and compliance with design control processes.

Pay Details : $45.00 to $56.00 per hour
