Stockroom Coordinator

Department: Operations / Production Support
Reports To: Operations Manager or Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stockroom Coordinator to oversee incoming materials, inventory, and stockroom operations within a growing manufacturing environment. This key role is responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, organization, tracking, and distribution of materials needed to support daily production activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to maintain accurate inventory records while supporting multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, parts, and supplies against purchase orders and packing documentation.

  • Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items and coordinate resolution with vendors and internal teams.

  • Maintain shipping and receiving records, including packing slips, bills of lading, and other related documentation.

  • Label and organize inventory using job numbers, project codes, and designated storage locations.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment.

  • Pull, stage, and distribute materials to support production schedules and operational needs.

  • Monitor incoming shipments, backorders, and inventory availability, communicating updates to appropriate departments.

  • Conduct routine cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records within inventory management systems.

  • Prepare outgoing shipments as required.

  • Assist with inventory audits and process improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency.

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, stockroom operations, warehouse coordination, or a related role.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to understand part numbers, inventory documentation, and material tracking systems.

  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the day.

  • Experience in a manufacturing, production, distribution, or industrial environment is preferred.
