Role Overview
The UX/CX Program Manager drives the operational backbone of the customer experience and design organization, turning ambitious product goals into well-sequenced, cross-functionally coordinated programs of work. This role sits at the intersection of project management and user experience. You will bring structure, rigor, and repeatable process to how CX and design teams plan, prioritize, and deliver, while never losing sight of the end goal: better experiences for customers. You will partner closely with Customer Research teams, UX/CX designers, Strategists, Product Teams, IT teams, and the content team to plan projects, define milestones, identify and mitigate risk, and keep complex, fast-moving initiatives on track. This is a cross-functional role suited to someone who is both an organized operator and an empathetic communicator.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable and repeatable processes that drive seamless cross-functional collaboration and handoffs between teams.
- Plan and manage fast-moving, multi-stakeholder programs. Build project plans, define milestones, track dependencies, and proactively surface and resolve risks.
- Facilitate program rituals such as planning sessions, status reviews, and retrospectives that keep teams informed and aligned without adding unnecessary overhead.
- Communicate program status, risks, and trade-offs clearly to both working teams and leadership.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders across research, design, product, engineering, and business teams to keep programs aligned to shared objectives.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3-5 years of experience.
Technical Skills: Experience working directly with and understanding the needs of UX/CX disciplines, such as UX/CX design, UX research, and strategy. Experience managing risks, including operational, product, and team health.
