BioPhase Solutions specializes in recruiting top talented professionals for Southern California's Scientific community. We are currently looking for a Maintenance Mechanic – 3rd shift (contract) to work for a leading Greater Los Angeles area contract development and manufacturing organization.
Pay Rate : $27-30+ / hour DOE
Contract : 3-6+ months (covering for LOA)
3rd Shift : 9 : 00pm – 5 : 00am
Responsibilities :
- Maintain and repair production equipment, including pneumatic pumps and motors, vacuum pumps, compressors, solvent lines, water lines, air lines, reactor vessels, and HVAC systems.
- Ensure cleaning and maintenance of production, support areas, and general facility in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Handle requests from production and other departments, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Transfer solvents to use locations safely and efficiently.
- Update inventories and other supplies as needed to support maintenance operations.
- Comply with all safety procedures, demonstrating knowledge of occupational hazards and required precautions.
- Prepare and maintain maintenance reports, ensuring compliance with SOPs and cGMPs.
- Deal tactfully, professionally, and courteously with fellow employees and external vendors / contractors.
- Perform general clean-up and maintenance tasks as required.
- Take necessary safety precautions to ensure the secure performance of assigned duties.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience / Requirements :
Technical Certification or vocational training in mechanical maintenance is preferred
