Thoroughly and completely know and understand the contract, each subcontract, and the plans and specifications to assist the Project Manager in developing the on-site procedures. Provide leadership to establish and maintain effective and harmonious working relationships with on-site staff and to promote a positive project environment. Manage site logistics Conduct preconstruction meetings with new and existing subcontractors and superintendents prior to the start of each new phase of the work to discuss issues. Stop work if necessary to resolve matters that affect safety, quality and / or inhibit the Logical progress of work. Perform the regular paperwork duties, including keeping daily records (daily reports) of field activity, including manpower, deliverables, and other relevant information. Ensure job safety requirements are understood and implemented by all project personnel and trade contractors, working with the safety support personnel as a resource. Establish the punch list process and close-out procedures with the project team. Maintain the project "as-built" drawings on a daily basis. Assemble and forward project closeout documents that include O&M manuals, as-builts, and warranties.
