Job Description :

Addison Group is hiring a Document Control Specialist for one of our clients in the mining industry. This contract-to-hire role supports construction-related projects and plays a key role in maintaining accurate, compliant, and well-organized project documentation. The ideal candidate brings prior document control experience within construction or engineering environments and thrives in both collaborative and independent work settings.

This position offers a hybrid schedule following an initial training period and provides long-term growth potential with a stable and expanding organization.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in document control
  • Background in construction document management or construction quality processes
  • Working knowledge of construction and project lifecycles
  • Experience handling cross-discipline engineering documentation
  • Ability to identify, classify, and route various document and drawing types accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and leadership

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and maintain construction-related documents in accordance with established standards and best practices
  • Track, organize, and route drawings, records, and deliverables through appropriate review and approval workflows
  • Support project teams by ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and accessible
  • Monitor individual performance metrics and contribute to ongoing process improvements
  • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to maintain consistent communication and documentation flow
  • Assist with compliance requirements tied to third-party contracts and project milestones
  • Work Schedule :

  • Monday–Friday, approximately 7 : 00 AM–4 : 00 PM (flexibility available)
  • Initial training period requires onsite attendance for approximately 2–4 weeks in Chandler, AZ (85248)
  • Post-training work location will be at a secondary Chandler campus (85226)
  • Hybrid schedule with an expectation of onsite work approximately one week per month (subject to change based on client needs)
