[job_card.job_description]Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation. Ensure the performance, security, and availability of databases by implementing best practices and optimizing database configurations. Prepare documentations and specifications related to database structures, queries, and optimizations. Profile server resource usage, and optimize and tweak as necessary to maintain optimal performance. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective database solutions. Develop and maintain existing Snowflake program units, ensuring their compatibility with the transitioning process to Oracle DB. Assist with the implementation of new Snowflake program units and their migration to OCI. Create consistent and high-performance database objects, including tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures. Participate in database design discussions and contribute to the optimization of database schemas. Stay updated with Oracle's Cloud offerings, especially OCI, and contribute to the migration strategy from Snowflake to OCI. Bachelor's degree in Science, Information Technology, with minimum 12+ Years of relevant experience. Proven experience as a Database Engineer or similar role, with a focus on SQL optimization and database performance tuning. Strong proficiency in SQL programming and optimization techniques. Experience with Snowflake and Oracle databases, with a willingness to transition from Snowflake to OCI. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The role involves collaborating with other team members and stakeholders to develop and maintain database objects.
