Assistant Program Planning Group (PPG) Project Manager
The Assistant Program Planning Group (PPG) Project Manager is responsible for assisting the PPG Director in the planning of various projects for the district's buildings, sites and facilities. Assistant PPG Project Manager primary role is to support the PPG Director to establish and maintain project management standards, processes and best practice, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and are aligned with the district's goals and standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Project Delivery and Management Support :
- Assists the PPG Director in successfully delivering program level projects.
- Provide guidance, best practices, templates and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency in project management practices.
- Assist in overseeing group of related projects that are aligned with specific programs and / or objectives, while prioritization projects based on strategic objectives.
- Monitors performance across the various programs and projects ensuring efficiency and achievement of organizational goals.
- Assist in overseeing the entire portfolio of collective projects and programs across the organization, managing the allocation of resources.
- Responsible for providing management reports and assisting in establishing guidelines and governance frameworks.
- Assist and collaborate in project management processes and standards across the organization.

Must demonstrate a willingness to travel between projects and work a flexible schedule. Reads construction drawings and specifications.
