Senior Management Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Senior Management Analyst to provide support in key areas of our department. This position will supervise the existing Management Analyst and oversee the budget and accounting functions for the Road department. The Senior Management Analyst will coordinate administrative services and workflow of administrative and support staff. In addition, the position will coordinate the departments safety program and provide liaison support for all things relating to human resources. This position will be responsible for drafting department policy and procedures. Perform other duties as necessitate.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manages, plans, develops, implements, evaluates, administers, coordinates, and oversees a variety of highly complex projects and programs including budget, grants and contract administration, legislative, management, and operations; develops recommendations on policies, procedures, and standards; performs complex financial and budget analysis; exercises discretion and independent judgment.
- Tracks department issues, and assures that action items are properly processed, managed, and resolved.
- Direct and supervise the work of assigned staff, develop staff skills, and evaluates performance; meets regularly with staff to discuss and resolve priorities, technical issues, quality standards, workload, and address performance issues.

Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration; AND five (5) years of experience analyzing, researching, developing, implementing, and administering projects and programmatic assignments, including supervising experience; OR any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge to perform the essential functions of the job.
