Job Description : We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, estimating, bidding, RFIs, purchasing, scheduling and assisting the project management team with some field involvement.

Responsibilities : The Construction Project Engineer's role is to assist with the planning, organization and management of the day-to-day operations, as well as any other responsibilities that the Project Manager and Senior Staff assign accordingly. Additional responsibilities of the Construction Project Manager / Engineer include :

• Assist the Construction Director, the Project Manager, the Superintendents and Senior Staff
• Oversee certain aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Bid trades.
• Negotiate with subs to receive reasonable order costs
• Perform some take-offs
• Order material
• Communicate with field superintendents to order required material.
• Assist in reviewing invoices, preliminary notices, and releases.
• Maintain and establish job processes (RFI's, submittals, etc.)
• Supervise closeout process

Qualifications & Requirements : To qualify for the Construction Project Engineer position, you must have strong knowledge and background in residential construction and particularly in multi-family luxury condominium construction. You must have excellent verbal and management skills to prepare cost estimates for bidding purposes. Additional requirements of the Construction Project Engineer include :
