Automotive Engine Remanufacturing – Quality Assurance Inspector - No Experience Required
Starting Pay: $18.04/hour and up to $19.54/hour potential (with earned MONTHLY bonuses)
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking candidates interested in our Quality Assurance Inspector role and we’ll provide all the training you need to succeed! LKQ Corporation is the leading provider of alternative and specialty parts to repair and accessorize automobiles and other vehicles. At LKQ Reman Springfield, we specialize in the remanufacturing of automotive engines.
Duties may include the following responsibilities: Under the direct supervision of the Department Manager, Supervisor or Lead, performs inspections of standardized assemblies, sub-assemblies, machined parts, operations and/or products. Inspection duties may be performed visually or with the use of precision measuring equipment such as gauges, calipers, micrometers, etc.
This position may perform other duties as assigned or fill in for others in the department or other departments as needed or requested. May train or instruct fellow workers regarding duties.

No engine experience required! We provide the training.
Education:
Ability to read and write. This is verified through the employment process
Experience/ Skills:
Good math, writing, communication skills, ability to work well with others
Equipment Used:
May include precision measuring equipment required for production and/or quality functions as well as basic lab equipment
Safety/ Safety of Others:
Must wear all company required personal protective equipment in required areas. Care necessary to avoid placing self and others in an unsafe environment
Quality of Work:
Provide quality products and services to meet the needs of both internal and external customers. Quality of work impacts succeeding operations
Physical Demand:
Requires continuous physical effort; short work cycles; repetitive motion work.
Standing 80%, walking 20%. Lifts, pushes, pulls an average of 80+ lb. Occasionally, 40 lb. Frequently, and 20 lb. Constantly.
Work Environment: Exposures to atmospheric conditions, such as dust, fumes, varying temperature extremes. Exposure to noise and various chemicals
