Non-invasive Cardiologist opening in Springfield, MO - research & teaching opps

Seeking BE/BC Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our well-established cardiology service in Springfield, Missouri. The physician will join a growing team currently with six interventional and non-interventional cardiologists, two electrophysiologists, three CT Surgeons, and four vascular surgeons. Our Cardiology outpatient clinics are attached via a skywalk to the Hospital.

• Cardiology is supported with 17 Cardiology APPs providing outpatient support and 24/7 inpatient coverage.
• This group works from the main hospital of a six hospital system. No traveling required.
• Invasive Cardiologists perform over 4,700 cath lab procedures annually, including a robust structural program.
• This position covers their outpatient clinic and supports our extensive cardiology program, performing and interpreting non-invasive cardiac imaging, including echocardiography and Nuclear Medicine.
• This position will assist with weekday inpatient coverage with 1:8 evening and weekend call for one hospital
• Optional research and teaching opportunities with medical students and residents.
• Large referral network comprising 20+ surrounding counties
