Salary : 55k-65K / year

TrainCareConsult was developed to address staffing challenges many providers faced during the initial phases of the COVID-19 crisis. TrainCareConsult has evolved into a staffing outcomes provider that meets the needs of Senior Care, Respite Care for the Intellectually Disabled, and Temporary Staffing (non-medical).

GENERAL FUNCTION :

The Director of Care Services is responsible for directing all aspects of TrainCareConsult. Will function as a part of the Executive Team that will expand TrainCareConsults lines of business. Will keep the Executive Team apprised of all activities, specifically incidents that reflect negatively on both the Program and the agency at large.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • The Director of Care Services shall manage all Home Care, Respite Care, and Staffing Services to ensure that the programs are in full compliance with its policies and procedures with all state and federal agencies (Community Care Licensing, Regional Centers, etc).
  • Has the authority to develop a team that will provide high-quality, caring direct support services.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine as needed, in collaboration with the Executive Team and the department staff, a long-range strategic plan for all programs.
  • Consistently market and promote Agency to ensure increased growth annually, measured by service hours.
  • Regularly speak to groups about services (i.e. churches, civic organizations, social workers, etc.)
  • Part of the Executive Team that develops, monitors, and maintains the budget(s) of the Agency.
  • Continue to mentor departmental staff to ensure their growth and development.
  • Approves (assist with implementation) all monthly billing and payroll for the Agency
  • Facilitates staff meetings (not less than monthly) to review referrals, incident reports, and other issues and to report all major concerns to the Executive Team.
  • Completes performance evaluations for staff directly supervising. Reviews performance evaluations of direct service staff.
  • Attend monthly provider networking meetings.
  • Approves program documentation and procedures, and incorporates them into the Agencys policy and procedure manual.
  • Approves ordering of supplies and equipment for the Agency.
  • Performs interviews, as needed, with candidates for future administrative and direct service positions.
  • Perform other duties as mutually agreed that benefit the Agency as a whole.

KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIRED TRAINING :

  • The Director of Home Care services requires a Bachelors Degree with at least 5 years of experience in Customer Service, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Must possess the skills to deal with conflict resolution / grievances for families and clients.
  • Required to demonstrate a willingness to work with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, seniors, and others.
  • Technology knowledge requirements include desktop / laptop computer proficiency. (preferably Mac); the use of analytical software, scheduling software,and others that includes Google Workspace and social media marketing.
  • PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS :

    The person selected for this position must establish and maintain effective communication with staff and community partners. This person must have an empathetic understanding of the client population and be able to relate to them in a positive and supportive fashion.
