Summary
EPIC IT Clinical Systems Engineer
This position will be directly aligned to the Epic OpTime solution application. Optime is Epic's operating room management system combining clinical and decision support tools with integrated scheduling for the management of hospital operating rooms and ambulatory surgical centers. The Epic IT Clinical Systems Engineer is responsible for configuring and maintaining the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system to meet the specific needs of our healthcare organization. The position will collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement changes within the Epic system. The Epic engineer will perform system testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting to ensure the integrity and functionality of the Epic system while developing and maintaining documentation related to Epic configurations, workflows, and best practices. A key element of this role will be to stay current with Epic software updates, new features, and industry best practices to continuously improve system performance and usability.
