– Pharm Tech I

• Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Responsibilities include prescription data entry, insurance claims submission, and product selection. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist. Pharmacy technicians present completed prescription to the pharmacist for verification and routinely interact with patients to ensure quality service. Must be team-oriented and have strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills as well as an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Job Requirements Education Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience No Prior Experience Required Skills Front End/Central Pharmacy Automation restocking and expiration date management Cash register fundamentals Direct customer and patient interactions
• Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: Registered with the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician/intern OR technician/intern application in process upon hire and obtained within 90 days
