Duties
Help
- Incumbent assists in project evaluation efforts and monitors system changes to ensure proper coordination among all customer organizations.
- Employee leads operational reviews for both internal and external audit agencies.
- Analyst prepares system documentation and input to assist technical personnel in improving or developing software in accordance with organizational needs and acceptable industry standards.
- Performs extensive analysis and evaluations of the intra and interrelationship of systems' functions to identify and determine current and future IT requirements, required technological advancements, and identified corporate initiatives.
- Manages programs and processes in order to ensure efficient and compliant execution of financial management resources
- Incumbent functions as a product manager, assuring accomplishment of data processing, analysis, design, development, configuration management, testing, release control, budgeting, and deployment of systems are in accordance with policy and procedure.

One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized experience is defined as : Applying auditing principles, techniques, policies and regulations with the objective of improving the information technology control environment of financial / accounting systems : identifying, documenting and recommending, improving systemic control environments of financial / accounting systems; conducting corrective actions and executing software test plans and System Change Requests for financial / accounting system.
Time-in-Grade : Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or higher grade in Federal Service.
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
