Description
Full time : Cooper Clinic. The Patient Services Representative plays an essential role in our patient experience. The Patient Services Representative greets our patients and initiates the check-in process to ensure the patients receive the correct clinical procedures during their visit.
Patient Services Representative Schedule : M-F, 6 : 30 a.m. - 3 : 00 p.m. with a 30 minute lunch. Occasional overtime as needed for patient care.

Patient Services Representative Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Proactively keep patients informed throughout the day.Consistently provide superior internal and external customer service.Answer telephone in a timely and polite manner.Communicate with customers in a courteous, professional and cooperative manner.Obtain current patient information from established and new patients.Accurately enter / update patient information in practice management system.Assist patients with completion of paperwork when necessary.Maintain proper personnel conduct and confidentiality of patient, staff and physician information.Maintain schedule balance to facilitate optimal patient flow.Requirements :
The ideal Patient Services Representative Candidate will possess
Bachelor’s degree preferredMedical office experience a plusPrevious in-person customer service experience requiredProfessional appearance and demeanorHigh level of initiative and integrityStrong communication skills and the ability to work in a high-paced environmentThorough knowledge of medical office operationsBasic knowledge of medical terminologyMust have exceptional multi-tasking abilities and time management skillsKnowledge of Microsoft applicationsAbility to work effectively and consistently with limited direct supervisionKnowledge of HIPAA and OSHA policies and proceduresSpecial ability to communicate well with staff, physicians and general publicDependableMust be able to work with a flexible work scheduleWhat we provide :
