Primary Care Medical Assistant

Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Patient Certified MA works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care Certified MA will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. What You'll Do

As a Medical Assistant in Primary Care, you'll be a vital part of the patient experience and care team. Your responsibilities include :

Documenting chief complaints

Blood draws, mental status exams, EKGs, oxygen studies, point-of-care testing
