This role is remoteThe Senior Revenue Cycle Manager (SRCM) is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end revenue cycle process, with an emphasis on patient account management, including registration, billing, and customer service. This role requires strong leadership, strategic insight, and a hands0on approach to process optimization. The SRCM will partner cross-functionally to ensure operational excellence, drive continuous improvement and safeguard revenue integrity.
Job Responsibilities :
- Lead, coach and develop, a team of revenue cycle professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, high performance and continuous improvement.
- Establish, implement, and maintain best practices and SOPs to optimize revenue cycle operations.
- Design and execute strategies to reduce bad debt, enhance collections and strengthen revenue integrity.
- Manage, track and evaluate the success of revenue cycle initiatives and improvement projects.
- Partner with cross †functional teams to improve processes, workflows and outcomes across the revenue cycle.
- Identify and address issues that hinder accurate and timely reimbursement.
- Oversee inbound and outbound patient call center operations, ensuring timely and professional customer service.
- Develop and deliver reports or dashboards for departmental and executive leadership.
- Build and scale processes to support organizational growth and evolving business needs.
- Engage directly in processes, procedures, and data to identify opportunities and drive measurable improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, payer rules and company policies.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience :
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Cycle Management, with demonstrated success in improving systems and outcomes.
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Proven revenue cycle experience in a clinical laboratory environment required.
- Experience in a startup or high-growth environments with the ability to design scalable systems.
- Proficiency with laboratory billing software (e.g., Telcor, Quadax, XiFin).
- Proven track record of leading teams, driving change and building a positive culture.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, billing practices, medical terminology, CPT, and ICD10 coding.
- Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal, and interpersonal, with the ability to engage effectively with both patients and staff.
- Highly level of proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
Education, Certifications, and Licensures :
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Additional coursework or advanced education preferred (i.e. bachelor's degree, coding or billing certification, Six Sigma).

- This position is remote with some travel to company headquarters located in Scottsdale, AZ or regional office in Atlanta, GA, as approved by the VP, Revenue Cycle Management.
