Summary : The Sr. Revenue Cycle Manager will oversee all aspects of the Occupational Medicine revenue cycle for multiple States. The Sr. Manager oversees a staff of Managers, Supervisors and Team Leads that drive revenue cycle processes such as Coding, Billing, Claims submission, Collections, Payment Posting and reconciliation. The ideal candidate will be aware of States’ Worker’s Compensation guidelines and ensure full regulatory compliance in Billing. The candidate will lead with purpose and be result oriented. Must be able to analyze situations for continuous areas of improvement. Candidate must have working knowledge of Billing systems with a depth of experience in automated functionality. Must understand the Clinical operations for patient intake, provider ledge of the line operations to maximize revenue.
Responsibilities :
- Work closely with the VP of Revenue Cycle to develop initiatives for streamlining work
- Accountable for the daily operations of the revenue cycle functions
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims
- Manage the overall Payment Reconciliation and posting of receivables
- Continuously improve the Collections process for Worker’s Comp
- Oversee the Client (Employer services) division ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to Clients.
- Implement quality assurance and audit practices to ensure Billing compliance.
- Analyze billing performance metrics and implement process improvements.
- Lead by managing the workflows that lead to above level KPI results.
- Supervise and train billing staff, providing coaching and mentorship.
- Coordinate with clinical departments, operations and other departments to build a successful revenue operations with optimum financial results.
- Prepare and present regular reports on billing activities and outcomes.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, other related field and / or relevant work experience.Minimum of 5 years healthcare billing and revenue cycle management experience with preferable experience in Occupational Health, PT or related specialty.Strong knowledge of Electronic Medical Records and Medical billing software.Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.Benefits :
