Document Control Assistant

San Diego, CA

21 - $23 / hr

3-Month Contract | Fully Onsite | Monday - Friday | 7AM - 4PM or 8AM - 5PM

About the Role

BioPhase is hiring a Document Control Assistant for a biotech company in San Diego. This role is responsible for scanning, organizing, and managing quality records within the company's document control system. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scan, upload, and maintain quality records in the document control system.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of documents per SOPs.
  • Retrieve and archive documents following company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support documentation needs.
  • Assist with document tracking, storage, and compliance audits.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 0-2+ years of experience in document control or administrative support.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
